Greek mythology is full of gods, and terrible monsters, and heroes, but gods carry some of the most important roles.
The twelve Power Olympians are some of the most known gods and also some of the most powerful. Here's the list.
HADES-Hades is the firstborn of the Titans Kronos (Also called Chronus, or Cronus) and Rhea. God of the underworld, where people go when they die, most people fear him. Hades is also the god of wealth. Some people consider that Hades is not a power olympian, but Hephaestus, the god of the forges and fire.
POSEIDON - Poseidon is also the son of Kronos and is the god of the sea.
DEMETER - Demeter is the goddess of Agriculture, and why seasons came to be. Demeter is also the daughter of Kronos.
HESTIA - The goddess of the Hearth, she is not very powerful, but was a Power Olympian until she quit due to the fighting and arguing between the gods. She is also a daughter of Kronos and a maiden.
HERA - Hera is the queen of the gods and the wife of Zeus. She is also the goddess of marriage and the daughter of Kronos.
ZEUS - He is the king of the gods, and king of the sky. He is the youngest child of Kronos.
Aphrodite - Aphrodite is the goddess of love and beauty, and played an important part in the Trojan War.
Ares - The god of war he is the son of Hera and Zeus and plays important parts in wars.
Apollo - The God of Prophecy, music, disease, and archery he is the son of Zeus and Leto, and the twin of Artemis.
Artemis - The goddess of wild animals, and the hunt she also is the goddess of disease, and daughter of Zeus and Leto.
HERMES - The god of travelers, merchants, thieves, god of the trade, sports, athletes, and the guide to the underworld he is the son of Zeus and Maia.
Athena - Athena is the goddess of wisdom. and her parents were Zeus and Metis.
Dionysus - The god of wine, he is the son of Zeus and Semele.
Hephasteus - The god of forges, and fire he is the son of Hera and Zeus.
